Welcome to Reigate Ramblers
We are part of the Ramblers – Britain's biggest charity working to promote walking and to improve conditions for all walkers. With over 100,000 members in England, Scotland and Wales, the Ramblers has been working for walkers for over 90 years.
A local group with about 250 members in Surrey - in and around Reigate, Redhill, Kingswood and Horley - we are "the friendly group" and welcome current and prospective members alike.
Please view our programme of walks . We walk all year round in the beautiful Surrey and Sussex countryside and beyond. We also enjoy visits to London and its many places of interest. What do I need to know about coming on a walk?
We walk at the weekend, mid-week and during the long summer days we also have evening walks. Most of our walks are around 5 to 8 miles long but we also have shorter and longer walks to suit all tastes. We often combine our walks with post-walk refreshment, be it coffee shop or pub! We also have some social functions including trips to local places of interest and meals out.
We aim to ensure that everyone can enjoy our walks safely and can feel part of our group. We have some informal guidance on how we do this here.
