Reigate Ramblers

Friends, Fun, Fitness

Walks Programme

Welcome to Ramblers members and prospective members alike! No need to book - just turn up at the start of the walk and enjoy. If you have not walked with us before and you like your first 2 or 3 (free-of-charge) walks then you can join the Ramblers and walk with Reigate and other local groups all over the country. As a member of the Ramblers our walks are then free to you wherever and with whoever you walk.

If you are unsure about a walk - give the leader a call to find out all about it (see leader's phone number in walks details below).

  • Morning walk - means just that - why not bring a snack and a drink for our mid-morning stop?
  • All-Day walk - a longer walk - bring a picnic lunch as well unless other arrangements are specified.
And a
  • Circular walk - is where we end up at the same place from which we started. Most walks are like this!
  • Linear walk - is where we walk and then use public transport to return us to our starting point.

Where practical and possible we have given Post Codes for Sat Nav directions to the start of a walk as well as a Grid Reference for an Ordnance Survey map. A Google Maps search will also help you find the start.

Maps - no need to bring a map on a led walk but, for your interest and maybe to find the start, the reference to EX means the Ordnance Survey’s "Explorer" (orange cover) map of the given number. The reference "TQ or SU xxx xxx" is the Grid Reference of the start which can be plotted on the map.

Go to Google Maps and insert the Post Code to find the walk area.

Here is our programmme:
