We are part of the Ramblers – Britain's biggest charity working to promote walking and to improve conditions for all walkers. With over 100,000 members in England, Scotland and Wales, the Ramblers has been working for walkers for over 81 years.
A local group with over 250 members in Surrey - in and around Reigate, Redhill, Kingswood and Horley - we are "the friendly group" and welcome current and prospective members alike.
View our programme of walks all year round in the beautiful Surrey and Sussex countryside and beyond. We also enjoy visits to London and its many places of interest.
We walk at the weekend, mid-week and during the long summer days we also have evening walks. Most of our walks are around 5 to 8 miles long but we also have shorter and longer walks to suit all tastes. We often combine our walks with post-walk refreshment, be it coffee shop or pub!
We have social functions including a New Year Lunch and Mid-Summer Dinner, quiz nights and games evenings.
We work as volunteers for Surrey County Council to keep our local paths open and in good condition. Look at our work here.
We support the charitable aims of the Ramblers - whose goal is to protect the ability of people to enjoy the sense of freedom and benefits that come from being outdoors on foot - See more at: Ramblers.
Why not try us out? For friends, fun and fitness - getting out into the beautiful local countryside is hard to beat!
